1 WKS 101 – Ending the Silence for Youth Professionals NAMI Ending the Silence for Youth Professionals is a 1-hour presentation designed for professionals that work with youth. In this presentation, presenters share information about warning signs and symptoms, how to support a young person that is dealing with mental health concerns, and how to create a culture of support for youth. The presentation is lead by two NAMI Metro Baltimore volunteers – a Lead Presenter and a Young Adult Presenter.”
2 WKS 102 – Help Wanted An interactive workshop where participants will develop a tool to use in their unit to advertise volunteer tasks.”
3 WKS 103 – Planning an Effective Unit Open House Come learn about how to advertise and run a Unit Open House.”
4 WKS 104 – Recruiting Adult Volunteers In this high energy presentation, you will learn how to effectively frame your message about the benefits of volunteering.”
5 WKS 105 (CSP 501, SBP 501)- The Order of the Arrow (OA) – What is it and how to use it in your Unit This course will discuss the basics of the Order of the Arrow and how to have a successful Unit OA Unit Representative program. Participants will learn how the Order of the Arrow and Nentico Lodge can enhance your Unit (Cub, Troop, Crew, & Ship) program, offer additional avenues to develop youth Leaders, and help retain older Scouts.”
