Calling All Scouting Best Friends!

Calling All Scouting Best Friends! Be Part of a Special Video Project

If you met your best friend through Scouting, we want to hear your story!

Scouting has a unique way of bringing people together—through shared adventures, challenges, and moments of growth. The friendships formed in Scouting often go far beyond weekend campouts and troop meetings. They become bonds that last a lifetime.

That’s why we’re launching a special interview-style video series highlighting best friends who met through Scouting. Whether you met in Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, summer camp staff, or any other part of your Scouting journey, we want to showcase the impact Scouting has had on your friendship.

We’re looking for pairs of friends to sit down together for a relaxed, heartfelt conversation on camera. You’ll share how you met, favorite memories, and how the Scouting experience helped shape your relationship. No script—just you, your best friend, and the story of your bond.

Where Your Story Will Be Shared

The final video will be a compilation of interviews that premieres at the Gathering of Eagles and Alumni on June 4th as part of an immersive media experience. This event brings together hundreds of Eagle Scouts, Scouting alumni, and supporters to celebrate the impact of the program—and we want your story to be part of that celebration.

Why We’re Doing This

Our goal is simple: to highlight how Scouting fosters authentic relationships, creates space for meaningful connection, and builds a lifelong sense of community. These stories help us show the world what makes Scouting special.
