Follow this step-by-step guide to make your renewal process smooth and hassle-free!
Log into My.Scouting
Start by logging into your My.Scouting account. Once inside, head to the Organization Manager section on the dashboard. This is your central hub for managing your unit's renewal.
Navigate to Unit Renewal
In the left-hand menu, click on Unit Renewal. This will take you to the page where you can manage and complete your unit’s rechartering process.
Select "Pay at the Council Office"
When you reach the payment page, pay close attention to the options available:
- If your unit is paying by check, click the white button labeled "Pay at the Council Office" on the bottom left-hand side of the screen.
- This step is crucial to generate an invoice for your payment.
By selecting this option, your unit can submit its payment directly to the council office, ensuring the process is properly tracked.
Submit Your Payment and Materials
Once your invoice is created, finalize your renewal by delivering the following to the council office:
- Your payment (check)
- Any required materials or documents
Once submitted, the council office will process your renewal, and your unit will be ready for the upcoming year!

The local pay option is ideal for units that prefer not to use credit cards or ACH payments. By choosing this method, you’ll have the flexibility to handle finances in a way that works best for your unit.
